UCS Admissions Office: Covid-19 update
Although UCS is closed for the time being, our Admissions Office is very much still open ‘digitally’ to answer your enquiries during our normal working hours of Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
We have had to make some temporary changes to the way that the UCS Admissions Office operates. Until further notice, all communications will be via email to/ from firstname.lastname@example.org. We will not be staffing our phone lines, so please do not call us or leave voicemails.
Families whose sons/ daughters will be joining UCS in September 2020, or at 13+ in 2021 or 2022
We will continue to be in touch, as planned, with all families whose sons and daughters are due to join us at 11+, 13+ or 16+ in September 2020, or at 13+ in 2021 and 2022. There will be no disruption to our normal joining communications and administrative processes.
It is expected that most or all events that we have previously advertised for the Summer Term, including induction events, will be cancelled; we intend to reschedule these wherever possible so that new pupils feel ready and excited about joining UCS in September. We will confirm all our plans via email in due course, once the national picture is clearer.
We hope that these web pages provide you with all the admissions information you need, but if you would like to ask us any questions about admissions or life at UCS, please do drop us an email; we will aim to respond promptly, as ever.
Please note we are not presently taking bookings for any school tours, even for the Autumn Term. We will advise via this page when such bookings have reopened. Open Evenings take place in the Autumn, and dates are provided through the link on this page.
Online application forms for places at 11+ and 16+, starting at UCS in September 2021, remain open via the relevant links on this page. You can expect prompt acknowledgement and we assure you that your application will be received, logged and confirmed via email as normal.
In the meantime, please may we extend our very best wishes to you all, and your families, at this difficult time.

Important notice: 13+ Admissions to UCS
We have now concluded our recruitment process for boys to join us at 13+ in September 2020, 2021 and 2022, i.e. for boys currently in Years 6, 7 and 8. Applications to join through these cohorts have now closed.
Families with boys presently in Year 5 (2019-20) or in younger year groups are advised that from September 2021, we will increase the size of our Year 7 (11+) intake. We anticipate that there will be approximately 50 places available at 11+ annually from that date onwards. Inevitably this means that, owing to the constraints of our campus on Frognal, we have had to take the difficult decision to remove Year 9 (13+) as a point of entry to UCS from September 2023 onwards. As such, we are no longer accepting applications to join UCS at 13+.
Applications to join UCS at 11+ in 2021 are now open, via the 11+ applications page linked below.
