Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to expand the Human Resources Team at University College School. Required from March 2023, the role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis and will cover a wide and varied range of employment-related administrative functions for UCS central register issues.

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the single central register, HR/Payroll databases and files and SIMS, as well as providing administrative support and any other ad-hoc HR duties.

The right candidate will also provide customer-focused service to all staff and contractors across the three schools of the UCS Foundation, working closely with the HR and Payroll Team.

You will have proven experience of working with administrative or Human Resources processes or within a customer-focused environment, coupled with effective team-working skills. You will also need to have strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills, the ability to use your own initiative and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.

Experience of managing your own workload and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential to this role. A good understanding of safeguarding and employment law would be an advantage.
