The Big Band rehearses in separate sections for the first half of each term, then as a whole band twice weekly after half term. With regular performance opportunities (at least three concerts per year) and potential for competitions, the Big Band provides a stimulating environment for young musicians to develop their skills and confidence. Open to all saxophone and brass players once they have secured enough notes to play a foundation part.
