Yogi attended University College School from 1982 to 1987. Afterwards heading to St Andrews University to study Medical Sciences. After three years pre-clinical study at St Andrews he graduated from Manchester University in 1993. He then trained as an Anesthetist at the Imperial School of Anesthesia and during this period was involved in research at The Magill Department of Anesthesia, Imperial College, London and at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. Yogi now works as a Consultant Neuroanaesthetist and Neurointensivist at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is an honorary senior Lecturer at UCL. In 2008 he won the UCL Medical School Students’ Top Teacher Award. Additional responsibilities held by Yogi are; Chair of Queen Square NRES ethics Committee; Director of Cultural Development UCLH; Head of Neuroanaesthetic Department, Queen Square and Senior Organisational Development lead for Leadership, UCLH.
