UCS Old Gowers Football is Looking for Hungry New Recruits
Having won the league last year, Gower FC had a slightly disappointing season reaching two cup semi finals and finishing 3rd in the Camden league. We have high expectations as a club and whilst ordinarily the above finish is not at all bad, we do not like losing and should have progressed to at least one of the finals and been up there challenging for the title. The squad was hit by injuries and absentees all season long and at times we were light on quality fit players to fill the gaps.
So if you are interested in playing competitive Sunday football this year and helping out the Gowers to win some silverware, please get in touch as soon as you can. Preseason 7- a-side starts July at the fields, league begins in September. Looking forward to seeing some hungry new recruits join us!
