University College School

 As previously advised, we will once again be holding our Christmas Meeting at Sandy Lodge Golf Club (www.sandylodge.co.uk), on Monday December 21^st this year. The course, at Moor Park, Northwood, is conveniently located for those of you living in NW London, is adjacent to Moor Park Met line station, and is reasonably convenient for the M1 and M25. 

The format will be the same as previous years, an individual stableford round for the Cantwell Cup, plus a prize for the best score by a guest. There will also be prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive and a team prize. 

Allowing for the heavy traffic in the area, I would suggest you aim for an arrival time of 8.30 - coffee and bacon rolls will be available in the club house. Our first tee-off time is 09.30. For those of you who like to warm up your swing beforehand, balls are provided free on the practice range. 

There will be no allocated tee times. You will be free to make up your own three ball teams (Sandy Lodge do not allow four balls), either beforehand, or on the day Guests are most welcome, of course. 

NB: Everyone is expected to bring a prize (e.g. a bottle of wine) to contribute to the prize table so that no one goes home empty handed.  

Jackets and ties are required for the 3 course, late afternoon, lunch. Please let me know any dietary restrictions well in advance.

The inclusive cost will be £45.00. If you would like to just come for lunch the cost is £17.50. It would make things much easier for our treasurer Adrian Paterson if you could send your cheque (made payable to UCSOBGS) in advance to me at 3 Moss Lane, Pinner, Middx. HA5 3BB.
