The archive, whilst mainly a paper resource, holds a number of artefacts relating to school life. These include various trophies and awards won by the boys over the years, medals and badges and a significant collection of old school uniforms.
The most recent addition to our collection of uniforms came from the family of Kenneth Poole who donated a blazer, and School caps from Montague Dell and Paul Bromberg together with various ties. To ensure these are not attacked by moth larvae whilst in the Archive the clothes were placed in sealed plastic bags and left for a month in the School freezer. This is one of the most effective means of killing all eggs of the clothes moth and its larvae as long as the temperature is held below -8°C for a prolonged period. The items will now be stored at room temperature, safe from moth damage, protected by archival tissue and placed inside sealed melinex covers.
